The Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists seeks to share information concerning doctrinal and theological developments among Adventists and to foster doctrinal and theological unity in the world church. Its main audience is church administrators, church leaders, pastors, and teachers. Scholars at the Biblical Research Institute focus upon the following areas of interest:

•  provide careful biblical studies in written form

•  review documents

•  answer questions on biblical matters

•  distribute informative papers on specific topics

•  present programs for ministers’ meetings

•  provide specialized short courses for ministerial education programs

•  operate a vigorous program of Bible Land seminars in Israel

•  publish major book-length studies on specific subjects
